ABOUT
Cooper Tropeau is a Canadian artist hailing from the prairies of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
At 24 years old, this alt-country singer-songwriter has been captivating audiences with heartfelt melodies and powerful lyrics since he first started writing, recording, and performing in 2016. What began as a solo journey has since grown into a powerful collaboration with his band, The Broken Bones—comprised of lead guitarist EJ Friesen, bassist Liam Santha, and drummer Gunner Tropeau.
On August 15, 2025, Cooper released his second full-length album, Cooper Tropeau & The Broken Bones, recorded with longtime producer SJ Kardash. The 13-track record showcases his evolving sound, blending country storytelling with rock grit and alternative cool. Featuring standout singles like “Prairie Fire,” “These Hands,” “There I Go,” and “Way Up,” the album has helped the group surpass 400,000 all-time streams and gain growing traction with both fans and radio.
Cooper and the band have become known for their high-energy, heartfelt live performances—lighting up festivals, rodeos, cabarets, and headline stages across Western Canada. In addition to touring, Cooper also hosts COOPALOOZA, an annual festival held on his family acreage that has quickly become a staple summer event, celebrating its fourth year in 2025.
A songwriter and storyteller at heart, Cooper Tropeau invites listeners to share in the highs and lows of life through his songs. With a new album out and their most ambitious run of shows ahead, Cooper and The Broken Bones are poised to reach new audiences and continue building on their prairie roots while creating a sound that is both timeless and modern.
